In
the year 2002, six families with a long tradition in wine cultivation in
the municipality of Poboleda ( Priorat), decided to join their efforts
in order to elaborate a high quality wine, with grapes from their own crops.
The wine cellar
is located on groundlevel of a house, located in the center of the village,
which once belonged to the very first settlement of the Cartusian monks
of Scala Dei.

| The
origin of all the products elaborated in Genium Celler is exclusively from
vineyards of its partners. These vineyards are eight properties distributed
in the municipalities of Poboleda, Torroja del Priorat and La Morera del
Montsant, all within D.O.Q.Priorat. |
